— 31 October 2018

BPR Contract Furniture have created a reputation based on quality craftsmanship. Our design and production processes bring together highly skilled disciplines in joinery, metal work, spray-painting, upholstery and stitching to create stylish, quality and durable furniture. We want to share our industry knowledge and provide an insight to the hard work and craftsmanship behind the luxury furniture.

Part 1: Steel and Welding Department

Bales of steel are delivered to our workshop where they are then cut to size. From a set of plans our welders will read sizes, then use an industrial bandsaw to cut appropriate lengths for each specification.

A manual pipe bender is used for bending lengths of steel to create beautiful curves for bespoke pieces of furniture.

The steel and welding department are responsible for creating legs, backs and building the seating frame before it moves to the next stage in the production process. Our experienced welders are highly skilled and take great care and pride in their craft.

In depth knowledge of the manufacturing process allows us to consistently deliver the very best in bespoke furniture from our state of the art workshop. If you have an upcoming project you would like to discuss, contact our sales team today at sales@bprcontractfurniture.com or call our office on 028 8775 8111.
